Confirmation takes place on alternate years (2009, 2011 etc.) Those age 12 or above who attend Mass can register.
Registration is in the preceding September. Preparation sessions before the 5pm Mass
Baptism, the Eucharist and the sacrament of Confirmation together constitute the sacraments of Christian initiation, whose unity must be safeguarded. The receptionof the sacrament of Confirmation is necessary for the completion of baptismal grace. For by the sacrament of Confirmation the baptised are more pefectly bound to the Church and are enriched with a special strength of the Holy Spirit. (CCC1285)
