The first holy Communion programme runs every year. Children age 7 or above who attend Mass and who have been baptised can register. First Holy Communion takes place each summer. Preparation sessions are after 10am Mass on a Sunday .
At the heart of the Eucharistic celebration are the bread and wine that, by the words of Christ and the invocation of the holy spirit become Christ's Body and Blood. (CCC1333)
